So this part of my blog is to show you all new talent in all of you wonderfully weird viewers in hope that this talent won't be ignored much longer!

Me, the poet and my cat!

This weeks is a poet called Simon Belfield! I may be a tad biased as he is one of my closest friends but I wanted to share with you this gorgeous poem he wrote!

Orange Glory

She cast me aside, left alone in the bay,She just left me there, to rust and decay.
I once was strong, I took her out to sea,Conquoring the waves, making her feel free.
Now I'm alone again, just left here sinking,I can't understand, what was she thinking?
I guess this is the end, for this seabed bound rock,But then I see you, walking along the dock.
Instead of seawater, my hull fills with hope,My mind fills with dreams, of new metal and rope.
I know I'm just a boat, but I aim for your attention,Instead you walk by, without a look or a mention.
I think this is the end, but you look back to your right,There in my orange glory, it was love at first sight.
